This residential client wanted a comprehensive UniFi installation across the house, bringing everyday connectivity, security, storage and backup power into a coordinated setup.
The brief extended beyond Wi-Fi alone: coverage throughout the home, camera security, access to stored files locally and remotely, and infrastructure that could accommodate access control at a later stage.
Wi-Fi throughout the home
We installed a UniFi network with U7 Wi-Fi coverage across the house, creating a connected wireless setup for devices used throughout the home.
Three G6 PTZ cameras
Three G6 PTZ cameras formed the security component of the installation, supported by the home's new UniFi network.
Storage at home and away
A UniFi NAS provided a central place for network storage, with local and remote access configured for the client's devices and files.
Backup power built into the setup
A UniFi UPS was installed to support the connected equipment during power interruptions. Available backup time depends on the connected load and battery capacity.
A stronger foundation.
The installation brings whole-home Wi-Fi, camera security, central network storage and backup power together in one considered system. It gives the client a connected foundation for everyday use, with room for the next stage of the home technology setup.
