Commercial Structured Cabling Perth
An organised foundation for workstations, access points and connected equipment.
Request a structured data cabling quoteStructured Data Cabling, with the details considered.
Good data cabling starts with the layout, not the cable box. We scope structured cabling for office fit-outs, relocations and commercial upgrades, with practical cable routes, labelled outlets and a clear connection back to the network cabinet.
For new tenancies, expanding offices, shop fit-outs, warehouses and facilities adding workstations, access points or other IP devices.
Sound familiar?
- Too few data outlets where people actually work
- Unlabelled cabling that makes faults difficult to trace
- Temporary patch leads running across work areas
- A fit-out plan that does not allow for future devices
A clear scope. A considered installation.
Your quotation confirms the equipment, work, testing and handover included for your site.
Outlet & route planning
Map the required outlets, equipment locations and cabinet position. Review access, building approvals and practical installation pathways.
Cable selection
Compare Cat6 and Cat6A against the intended network, distance, pathway capacity and budget. Specify the cabling system in the quotation.
Termination & labelling
Terminate outlets and patch panels, organise patching and apply a consistent identification scheme so connections can be traced.
Testing & records
Agree the testing and documentation requirements up front. Where formal certification is required, include the method and deliverables in the scope.
Equipment & technology
Cat6 or Cat6A copper cabling, data outlets, patch panels and cable management are selected as a system. Fibre or building-to-building requirements can be discussed and scoped separately. Required cabling registration and competency details should be confirmed for the work before commencement.
Infrastructure that makes business easier.
- Fewer improvised connections across the workplace
- Easier identification of outlets and patching
- A physical network planned around your fit-out
- Capacity for agreed future growth

Need to discuss something specific? Tell us about your site and what you need to improve.
Should we use Cat6 or Cat6A?
The choice depends on target speeds, run lengths, pathway space and expected equipment life. Cat6A may be worth considering for demanding links, while Cat6 can suit many everyday connections. We assess the full installation rather than choosing by category alone.
Can you add outlets to an occupied office?
Yes, subject to access and suitable cable routes. We discuss furniture, ceiling access and interruptions so the work can be scheduled around the site.
Do you provide cable test results?
The quotation will set out the testing included. Tell us if your project requires formal certification, a specific test standard or records for a building handover.
Can existing cabling be reused?
Potentially. Its condition, category, length, termination and test results need to suit the intended use. We do not assume an old cable will support a new requirement without checking.
